We invite you to visit the Roxboro Savings Centennial Pocket Park — a gift to the City of Roxboro in honor of our 100th anniversary and a symbol of our deep roots in this community.
Each year, this special spot becomes the heart of our annual Ice Cream Social, where neighbors gather, stories are shared, and memories are made. Located just across from the Kirby, the park offers a peaceful retreat with picnic tables, cozy seating, a gentle water feature, and lush greenery. It’s the perfect place to relax, recharge, and enjoy a little slice of Roxboro charm.

Community Shred Day
Each spring, Roxboro Savings Bank hosts a free Shred Day and Community Food Drive, because making life easier and giving back is what we’re all about! We bring in Shred-It® trucks and set up convenient drive-thru lanes, so all you have to do is pull up and we’ll take care of the rest. Donations collected during the event support the Person County Animal Shelter and the Christian Help Center, helping us make a meaningful impact right here at home.
Ice Cream Social
Nothing says “community” like free ice cream! Each year, we host a cheerful Ice Cream Social at Roxboro Savings Centennial Park, right across from the Kirby Theatre on Main Street. We hand out free ice cream and fun giveaway items to everyone who stops by. It’s our way of giving back and sharing a little joy with the neighbors who make our community so special.
