ANNUAL MESSAGE for 2009:

On behalf of Roxboro Savings Bank, I am pleased to report that 2009 was another successful year --- Chartered in 1923, Roxboro Savings Bank is a state-chartered bank headquartered in Roxboro, North Carolina. We presently operate 2 branches in the Person County area.

With over $183 million in assets and $134 million in deposits, the bank holds 30% of Person County’s deposit market share and over $95 million in loans which support the continued growth in our community. Our deposits are insured by the FDIC. We are a full service financial institution committed to providing our customers with modern banking products and services without sacrificing the quality, personalized service our customers expect and deserve.

It has been a year of realizing the value of what we have always known to be our greatest assets – people. Our customers, employees, and directors all continue to play a pivotal role in our success. The leadership of our directors steers our success. This, together with the support that we receive from both staff and our valued customers, solidifies our excellent reputation throughout our community. Working together, we will remain committed to our vision, mission and core values as we look forward to the future.

We feel that community banks fulfill a vital role in America’s neighborhoods; because our customers are also our friends and neighbors. We support the local hospital, schools, churches, and civic organizations that enhance the quality of living that we have all grown to love and cherish.
